About
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney was established by the 1851 Indiana Constitution. The Warrick County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office represents the State of Indiana in all felony and misdemeanor criminal prosecutions resulting from crimes committed within Warrick County, Indiana. In addition, the Warrick County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office supervises grand jury proceedings, conducts juvenile adjudications and prosecutions, enforces child support obligations entered in divorce and paternity cases and provides information and assistance to victims of crime.
Upon being sworn into office on January 1, 2011, Warrick County Prosecuting Attorney JoAnn Jacob Krantz ushered in a new era by becoming the county’s first female Prosecuting Attorney.
The Prosecuting Attorney’s offices are housed within the Warrick County Judicial Center, along with the Office of the Clerk and our courts. This location allows all of our offices to work together in delivering fully integrated, efficient prosecution services to the public.
