Courts

In 1851 the Indiana Constitution granted the Indiana General Assembly the power to create Circuit Courts. It was at that time Indiana was divided into circuits based on county lines. Warrick County is designated as the 2nd Judicial Circuit. As counties grow, the numbers of courts are expanded and jurisdictions established for each court. Warrick County is comprised of one Circuit Court and two Superior Courts
